Kaliev Adil, a student of our college, PD3 - 19K group, participated in the Almaty Region Chess Championship in early December, which was held in Taldykorgan, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence. There were 117 participants from all regions and other cities of Kazakhstan. Adil competed with the fide masters and entered the top 5 strongest players of the tournament. Playing with them, he gained additional experience, understanding that you need to constantly work, work on yourself and not relax. This is a very good result! Keep it up, Adil. New victories and conquests!!!
In the period from 21.12 to 22.12, the Polytech Hakathon competition was held in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan among students of the college of Almaty. The theme of the hackathon was the development of a website and a mobile application for applicants.

With the support of the Department of Public Development of Almaty City and the Department of Education of Almaty, the State Fund for the Development of Youth Policy of Almaty City held an innovation ideas competition "UpGrade" in order to promote innovation. More than fifty projects from colleges and universities of Almaty were presented at the competition.
The Innovative Technical College presented two projects in the areas of "Design" and "Robotics".
In the field of Design, Ermekov Eldos, a student of the ISD19R group, presented the project "Mock-up of a college with an animated robot".
Students of the P1809P group, Chingiz Baudinov and Fatima Serikova, presented the smart mirror project SmartMirror. The project was highly praised by the jury and recommended for the Business Roadmap competition.
