The subject “Computer geometry and graphics” provides basic training for students to use computer graphics methods in various fields of information technology.

The purpose of the discipline, developed in accordance with the educational standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the specialties: 1305000 “Informative Systems”, 1304000 “Computing Engineering and Software”, is: the acquisition of knowledge about the capabilities, methods and tools of computer graphics; acquisition of practical skills in creating graphic applications.

The main tasks of the discipline are the study of basic algorithms and basic mathematical methods used in computer image visualization; the formation of a knowledge system that makes it possible to efficiently use a PC to solve graphic problems.

In the framework of the discipline "Computer geometry and graphics", students study:

  • • Geometric transformations in computer graphics.
  • • Splines in computer graphics.
  • • Visualization of three-dimensional images.

Finance in IT

The purpose of studying the discipline "Finance in IT" is the formation of students of modern fundamental knowledge in the field of finance; training of specialists in the field of financial and credit relations, possessing the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

The objectives of the course are:

- the study of the content and principles of the organization of finance of economic entities, the financial characteristics of organizations (enterprises) of various industries, spheres, forms of ownership, legal forms;

- disclosure of the theoretical foundations of the functioning of the finances of business entities, the assimilation of related basic concepts and terms;

- mastering the content and main directions of financial work and the rules of crisis management in organizations (enterprises).

When studying the discipline "Finance in IT", integration with the disciplines of "Economic analysis and analysis of financial statements", "Audit", "Financial accounting", "Economics of organizations" and others.

The program consists of four sections: І section "General organization of finance of IT industry organizations", ІІ section "Financial resources of IT industry organizations", ІІІ section "Investment of IT industry organizations", IV section "Cash and cash funds of IT organizations industry. "

One of the main indicators of the qualification of a modern specialist in the field of information technology is the ability to work with information and create information resources, as well as possess an information culture. Therefore, the need to study the culture of handling information and the technology of creating information resources is obvious to specialists in all areas of the college. Modern information technologies have allowed to accelerate the processes of generation and formation of new information resources and have created the basis for the intensive growth of information in all areas. The amount of information resources is currently increasing. The growth rate of information resources overlap the growth rate of human information needs, which are limited. The modern information society is faced with the problem of assimilating these rapidly growing resources. The task of a specialist in any field is to determine the technology of working with incoming information streams, weed out inaccurate and low-quality information and select the necessary information resource, adequately evaluate it for optimal use. The most global and perfect system for transmitting, searching and receiving information with minimal time and effort at the moment of development of the information society is the Internet.

The objectives of mastering the discipline are: to familiarize students with the basic concepts of world information resources; training in principles and methods of development, creation, distribution and use of information resources. Studying the peculiarities of the markets for information resources, methods for creating and disseminating a different class of information resources, methods for their organization at the present stage, issues of organizing data processing processes, methods for protecting information resources, the structure of information and the search rules in world information networks, a comprehensive assessment of the efficiency of using information resources. In the discipline "Information Resources and Computing Networks" special attention is paid to the study of the basic parameters of information resources, consideration of the basics of working with the global information network Internet.

The objectives of the discipline are students to understand the importance and role of innovation for the oil and gas industry and the economy, use the achievements of science and technology to increase the efficiency of hydrocarbon field development.
